How does the i’mail App work ?
Activation
- register or enter i’m Cloud;
- i’m Watch and the mobile phone must be connected via Bluetooth and Tethering;
- from i’m Watch open the notifications panel (scroll down from the screen where you see the time and date);
- select the third icon from the left (two round darts);
- wait for the darts to stop turning;
- from i’m Cloud go to devices > configure app > select the i’mail app;
- enter e-mail address and password linked to the address entered;
- enter the IMAP server (the server should be IMAP and not POP) and port related to your e-mail provider (if necessary, consult the instructions of your provider);
- enter the necessary data and press “ok”;
- select the icon with the two darts again and wait for them to stop turning;
- the app is downloaded.
Compatibility
Make sure you have downloaded the app correctly and entered the necessary data; in particular, the service should be IMAP and not POP.
Please also remember that the application only shows e-mails received from the time of synchronisation.
The i’mail app supports all servers of the IMAP type but not the POP type.
Deleting e-mails
It is not possible to delete e-mails directly from i’m Watch, as the device is entirely dependent upon your smartphone.
Writing
i’m Watch is able to receive e-mails but the send function has not yet been implemented.
