Steak Time. This app enables you to cook your steak on the barbecue to perfection. Simply select the thickness and how you would like it cooked – all the way from Blue to Well Done – and the app will give you a guide to how long to cook, and when to turn.
The app has been designed on the 3-turn method so each side gets two grillings. When flipping, also turn the steak through 90 degrees so that you get an attractive criss-cross pattern.
In designing the app, we have taken input from both qualified chefs, and trade associations. We recommend oiling (and if required seasoning) the steak before cooking. Get the barbeque as hot as you can, and leave the steak to rest for 2 minutes after cooking. Although every care has been taken, please note we cannot take responsibility for under or overdone meat as conditions can vary.
